Javier Maroto and Alvaro Soto, PHD architects. They have teaching positions at the ETSA Madrid since 1989 and work as partners since 1992. In 2001 they founded the architecture and interior design firm SOLID ARCHITECTURE and the landscaping company MAREMOTO LANDSCAPES, with the goal of partnership among architecture, city and territory.

They have projected cultural buildings, sports facilities, offices, private and social housing and the rehabilitation of various buildings to suit new functions and have in their curriculum several Awards of Architecture and Urbanism of Madrid, the Architecture Prize of the Madrid Association of Architects and the FAD prize of design. They have obtained in the practice of their profession, both as individuals or as a team more than 50 awards at national and international competitions.

Javier Maroto y Álvaro Soto, doctores arquitectos y profesores de la ETSA de Madrid desde el año 1989. Trabajan asociados desde el año 1992. El año de 2001 fundan la empresa de arquitectura y diseño SOLID ARQUITECTURA y la empresa de paisajismo MAREMOTO PAISAJES, para llevar a cabo proyectos de arquitectura, urbanismo y paisajismo de una forma integral, con el objetivo de asociación multidisciplinar entre la arquitectura, la ciudad y el territorio.

Han proyectado edificios culturales, deportivos, oficinas, viviendas sociales y privadas y han trabajado en la rehabilitación de diversos edificios para adecuarlos a nuevas funciones. Tienen en su curriculum los premios del Ayuntamiento de Madrid y del COAM, el Premio FAD de Diseño. En su practica profesional han obtenido más de 50 premios en concursos nacionales e internacionales.
